
First off, I have personally only suffered anxiety in the form of panic attacks. This has not happened very often but it left an imprint on my life. When I was younger (around elementary school) was when i used to have panic attacks the most. It would be something small that would trigger it, such as forgetting my lunch box or missing my parents. Later in life it happened less frequently but was still triggered by something small that triggered a "panic" memory.
Anxiety medicines are a last resort medication where you need to calm down right away. In my experiences i have seen that anxiety is mostly triggered when trying to fall asleep. when your trying to fall asleep all the thoughts of the day are running through your head and you are unable to cope with it.
Anxiety medicines are sort of a relaxer that help calm you down and settle down the panic quickly. One type, the name brand Xanax, is commonly used as a take as needed medication because of its fast reaction time.
There is no BEST anxiety medicine but i will try to go through several and gather some information for everyone
